New 12-PANEL design. Top grain leather. Molten Flat-Pebble Surface and Molten Full-Flat seams. Nylon wound. Butyl bladder. Official size and weight.

The GL7 is a genuine leather basketball however, it does take some getting used to. Being genuine leather it has natural oils in the skin which makes the ball, when you first use it, feel very slippy. This ball needs to be broken in or ‘scuffed up’ on a rough surface to remove the slippery-ness. Once this is done, this ball becomes one of the best basketballs in the world.

Molten recently introduced the new patented 12-panel basketball - a cutting-edge design, providing additional seams when compared to the traditional 8-panel balls manufactured by other ball makers. More seams, mean better fingertip control for dribbling, passing and shooting. The Molten 12-panel basketball is now used in every top international competition world-wide.
