MOLTEN APPOINTED OFFICIAL BALL SUPPLIER TO
BRITISH COLLEGES SPORT
Molten, the world’s largest manufacturer of inflatable balls, has been appointed as the official ball supplier to British Colleges Sport (BCS), the national organisation for further education sport in the UK, representing 270 colleges nationwide.
The three year deal, which commences this month, March 2010, will run until August 2012. Under the terms of the agreement Molten will supply BCS with a range of top quality balls for four of its sporting programmes including:
Basketball – the Molten BGG7 for men and BGG6 for women – the ground-breaking, 12-panel ball, which provides more seams for better fingertip control, passing and shooting. FIBA Approved.
Football – the Molten VG-5000A, the revolutionary no-stitch football, specifically designed for UK wet weather conditions. FIFA Approved.
Netball – the Molten International Netball which is manufactured with deep embossed pimples, giving the player improved grip and enhanced ball control.
Volleyball – the Molten V5M5000 FLISTATEC® Volleyball. Just launched in the UK, this cutting-edge design provides improved flight control and visibility. FIVB Approved.
The Molten balls will be the official match balls at the BCS’ regional tournaments and National Championship finals of each of the four sports. The agreement also offers BCS’ member colleges and teams the opportunity to buy balls and associated sports equipment at discounted rates.
