PARKER STEEL KENT YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE VOTE FOR MOLTEN FOOTBALLS The Parker Steel Kent Youth Football League, one of the biggest youth leagues in the UK, has selected the revolutionary Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio football (FVA-4000Y) as its official match ball for the forthcoming season, 2007/08. The Molten football was voted the league’s official match ball for its 15-19 year-old age group at its recent Annual General Meeting and it is to be used in all league matches. Molten is the world’s leading producer of footballs and the Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio football is manufactured using a new, patented, cross-fusion bonding technique which dispenses with traditional hand-stitching methods. The result is a rounder ball, which makes for more accurate passing and shooting, and unlike its competitors’ balls, which are made using the traditional hand-stitching methods; the ACENTEC Vantaggio does not increase in weight in wet weather conditions (having no stitch holes). Approved by FIFA, the ACENTEC Vantaggio is used in most top championships around the world. In addition, league members have also agreed that the 6-14 year age group are to play with the newly developed, and widely acclaimed Molten football FVA-571. The Molten FVA-571 football is a great ball for younger players. With its special layer of EVA foam under the skin of the ball, the FVA-571 is much softer than other footballs and this gives younger players great confidence when heading the ball, as well as helping to reduce the possibility of injuries. In fact, the Molten FVA-571 is used by Arsenal Soccer Schools exclusively in their training courses. The Parker Steel Kent Youth Football League established in 1975, now operates over 365 teams throughout Kent across all age groups, playing a total of over 6,000 games per season. MORE Comments, Bob Hope, chairman of Molten Sports said: “This is good news for the Molten brand and also further recognition of the high quality of Molten footballs. I am convinced that the youth of Kent will be delighted with both balls’ performance. The Parker Steel Kent Youth Football League is following in the footsteps of the Kent Football League, the Canterbury City FC and the Kent Schools Football Association in choosing two excellent balls with which to play”. Les Barleycorn, chairman of the Parker Steel Kent Youth Football League said: “I am delighted that our members have chosen to go with the Molten balls. Both balls are tremendous to play with and I think our players are going to enjoy competing with them.” Molten footballs are available via Kent Soccer Company, who are servicing the Parker Steel Kent Youth Football League on behalf of Molten Sports, can be contacted as follows: ENDS PHOTOS
