PRESS RELEASE - Issued August 8th, 2006

Molten’s ACENTEC Vantaggio becomes Kent Football League’s official ball

The world class, Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio football is the new match ball of the Kent Football League, it was announced today, August 8, 2006.  The FIFA APPROVED, Molten ball is to be the League’s new official ball for the next three seasons commencing 2006/7.  In addition, and as part of the agreement with Molten, the ACENTEC Vantaggio is to be used in all Kent Football League and cup games.

Bob Hope, chairman of Molten Sports, commented:
“As a Kent-based company we are delighted to announce our association with the Kent Football League.  The Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio match ball is probably the world’s best football.  It is approved by FIFA and used in many high-profile world competitions.  Players love it because of its smooth seamless surface and zero water absorbency.

“Our agreement with the Kent Football League follows fast on the heels of a similar sponsorship of the Spartan South Midlands Football League, announced in June 2006, from which we are already receiving much positive feedback.  We expect, once word is out about the superior quality of the Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio ball, Molten’s reputation as a quality football brand is going to grow and grow.”

Roy Vinter, secretary of the Kent Football League, added:
“We are very pleased Molten has agreed to be associated with the Kent Football League.  The Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio is an outstanding ball and we believe the teams in the League will appreciate the unique control and accuracy it will give them when playing with it.”

NOTES FOR EDITORS
The Kent Football League
The Kent Football League is now over 100 years old and well known country-wide.  It operates at Step 5 in the Football Association National League System and accepts Clubs from adjacent areas to Kent.  Currently there are Clubs from Kent, Essex, London and Surrey.

The League has 3 Divisions with the Premier Division operating in the National System.

Success has come the way of Clubs in the FA Vase with the last final to be held at the old Wembley Stadium being won by Deal Town.

Perhaps the best known and most recent Kent League players have been Tony Cascarino of Crockenhill who joined Gillingham and Ian Wright of Arsenal who played at Greenwich Borough.

Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio Football
Launched just over a year ago, the FIFA APPROVED, Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio soccer ball has turned the soccer world upside down with its new patented technology which pushes the limits of precision.

ACENTEC is an acronym for Accuracy Enhancing Technology, a new technology which replaces traditional hand-sewing with a cross-fusion bonding technique, eliminating quality variations.  The result is a smooth, seamless and even surface with constant and consistent pressure to all 32 panels of the ball, making for a rounder ball, a smoother surface and perfect balance.  This means the ACENTEC Vantaggio goes where the player wants it to go with minimum absorbency and maximum abrasion resistance.  It gives increased accuracy of 220% (when compared with other FIFA APPROVED hand-sewn soccer balls) because of its smooth, round and even surface, as well as perfect control even in wet weather, because of its low water absorption (just one fifth of other FIFA APPROVED hand-sewn soccer balls).

The Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio is used by many European clubs including Parma A.C. and A.C. Chievo Verona in Italy and FSV Mainz 05 and Alemannia Aachen in Germany to name but a few.
