PRESS RELEASE - Issued October 1st 2007

MOLTEN TO SPONSOR EASTER & SPRING FESTIVAL OF FOOTBALL 2008

Molten, the world’s largest manufacturer of quality footballs, has been selected as the exclusive, official match ball supplier to the Easter & Spring Festival of Football (ESFF) 2008, the UK’s leading provider of youth football festivals.

2008 marks the 20th anniversary year of ESFF, which, over the past twenty years, has played host to more than half a million budding and enthusiastic soccer players and their families.  Next year well over 1000 teams and 35,000 people are expected to take part in the Festivals over the Easter and May bank holiday weekends in six locations around the UK - at Butlins’ and Haven centres in Ayr, Bognor Regis, Exmouth, Minehead, Pwllheli and Skegness.

The deal with ESFF involves Molten’s fantastic new Vantaggio FVA-571 football which is perfect for young players.  Enhanced with a special layer of EVA foam under the skin of the ball, the Vantaggio FVA-571 is much softer than other footballs and this gives younger players greater confidence when heading the ball, and it also helps to reduce the possibility of injuries.

Molten is to provide the Vantaggio FVA-571 match ball to all the ESFF tours and ESFF is also using the Molten footballs as an incentive by sending out free balls to clubs who make early bookings.  In addition, Molten Golden Balls are to be awarded at all ESFF presentation ceremonies, which for many teams, are the highlight of the tour.

Commenting on the deal, Bob Hope, chairman of Molten Sports said:
“Molten is thrilled to be involved in this great event.  ESFF has a superb track record in organising the Easter & Spring football festivals and we wish them every success in this, their 20th anniversary year.  We hope that our sponsorship will add that extra something which makes 2008 very special for all who take part.”

Martyn Young, partner, Easter & Spring Festival of Football added:

“2008 marks the first time ESFF has appointed an official ball for our Football Festivals and we are delighted that Molten has agreed to be our match ball sponsor.  The new FVA-571 ball is ideal and we know that younger players love it.”
