PARKER STEEL KENT YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE VOTE FOR MOLTEN FOOTBALLS The Parker Steel Kent Youth Football League, one of the biggest youth leagues in the UK, has selected the revolutionary Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio football (FVA-4000Y) as its official match ball for the forthcoming season, 2007/08. The Molten football was voted the league’s official match ball for its 15-19 year-old age group at its recent Annual General Meeting and it is to be used in all league matches. Molten is the world’s leading producer of footballs and the Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio football is manufactured using a new, patented, cross-fusion bonding technique which dispenses with traditional hand-stitching methods. The result is a rounder ball, which makes for more accurate passing and shooting, and unlike its competitors’ balls, which are made using the traditional hand-stitching methods; the ACENTEC Vantaggio does not increase in weight in wet weather conditions (having no stitch holes). Approved by FIFA, the ACENTEC Vantaggio is used in most top championships around the world. |

Molten scores slam dunk with sponsorship of British Basketball League Molten, the world’s leading manufacturer of inflatable sports balls, is to sponsor the British Basketball League (BBL) in a three year deal in which Molten’s new and distinctive, 12-panel G-Series basketball will become the exclusive and official BBL league and club ball. The announcement follows hot on the heels of Molten’s recently announced sponsorship agreements with the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association (July 2006). Valued at £150,000, the sponsorship package, which commences this month (September 2006), includes a supply of the Molten G-Series basketball and other Molten products as well as cash, which is to be directly invested by BBL in a scheme to develop basketball in the clubs’ communities. The objective of this scheme is to increase the membership in England Basketball (the sport’s governing body) and improve club development and competition. (A similar, highly successful scheme, piloted in one region last year, accounted for over 10% of England Basketball’s 2005/6 increase in membership.) A further element of the sponsorship agreement is that the unique 12-panel Molten G-Series basketball, which is FIBA approved, is to be depicted in the newly launched BBL logo (see above) and all Molten products, including digital scoreboards, are to be available exclusively online via the BBL web site (www.bbl.org.uk). In addition, the Molten G-Series basketball is to be used in all BBL games, cup games and championship finals as well as all junior development programmes, community projects by BBL Clubs and any other events which the BBL undertakes. |

ACENTEC is an acronym for Accuracy Enhancing Technology, a new technology which replaces traditional hand-sewing with a cross-fusion bonding technique, eliminating quality variations. The result is a smooth, seamless and even surface with constant and consistent pressure to all 32 panels of the ball, making for a rounder ball, a smoother surface and perfect balance. This means the ACENTEC Vantaggio goes where the player wants it to go with minimum absorbency and maximum abrasion resistance. An innovative alternative to hand-sewn and laminated balls, manufactured using Molten’s unique ACENTEC technology. Many European clubs are already using the Molten ACENTEC Vantaggio this season – make sure you too are getting ready to participate in this global soccer history revolution. |
